Inkspirational #115

It's been a while since I've made a card for anything other than my Design Team assignments but I saw the challenge from Inkspirational and had an immediate idea.  They are asking for patterned paper and who doesn't have a lot of that.  For an optional twist, you can stamp on that paper and that's what I did.
I have the stencil to this PB stamp and it worked perfectly to color in the flowers after I stamped in Wet Cement and clear embossed.  A yellow DI marker added just a little color to the berries and with all the words I decided to leave off a sentiment.

I'm hoping to get back into crafting after Labor Day when things slow down and maybe I'll get a couple of things done before then.  I miss entering the challenges just for fun.

Just Us Girls #357

Another week has rolled around and they're passing by too quickly.  This is is our Color Challenge at Just Us Girls.
I started out with another card in mind until I remembered that I could use only the three colors.  I have a tendency to do that but I caught myself and switched gears.
I recently got the PTI Golden Gate Kit and planned to use the hollyhocks but they didn't look good without yellow centers.  I did use the lattice stencil from the kit for my background and added flowers from Altenew and a sentiment from Hero Arts, popped up on an oval die cut layered with foam.

What will you make using aqua, white and kraft?  For inspiration check out the Design Team and Guest Designer Colleen Foelker at Just Us Girls.  If you enter your card in the gallery, you may be chosen Chic of the Week and be eligible for a guest design spot in October.

Tag You're It! #54

Michelle Short is the Featured Artist at Tag You're It! and she's made this darling tag for your inspiration.
I love the blue background but lazy (or just plain tired) me didn't want to have to mask my flower so I went another way with my MFT tag.
I colored my PB flower with Zigs and then watercolored the background with Distress Ink. The sentiment is also from PB.

Need more inspiration?  Head on over to TYI! and see what the Guest Designer and Design Team have for you.

Addicted to Stamp and More #207

It's time for the Make Your Mark challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. This means you can use any method on your card that makes a mark - markers, pencils, Zigs, Copics - whatever your little heart desires.  I used Zigs on my card.
The stamp is an exclusive for Stamp of Approval by Gina K.  I don't know if you can tell but I added some Enamel Accents to the little round "berries?"

We are being sponsored by Stamplorations and you can win two digital images if your card is chosen as the winner.  You'll get plenty of inspiration on the blog so check out what the Design Team has to show you and enter your card in the gallery.
